pm--4 Some miles while I finished Strange Negotiations.

pm--5 A run up near the Canyons and back. TIL that the one of the songwriters in Squeeze wrote the band's lyrics and the other wrote the music and melodies. Interesting team work.

pm--6.5 Anasazi Trail, past the homestead and back. Nice run. The temperature was warmer but still pleasant. I had a bike family leapfrogging me for a while, but once we hit the incline, it was over.

pm--6 Chuckwalla to the point w/ the Paradise Rim extension. The route is seldom traveled, so I ended up 2nd on the segment leaderboard even dragging myself through the heat, my quads screaming because of my one-punch-man workouts the last few days.

pm--4.5 Defaulted to the tready and watched a chunk of the 2009 Wimbledon Final, Fed vs. Roddick, one of the great sporting events of my life.

am--7.5 Anasazi Trail from trailhead to trailhead. It was a good run, even though I think 10:00 am might be the worst time of day for me to run. A lady stopped me on the trail and said she had seen some rattlers mating near the part of the trail I had just traversed. She showed me a picture. Not sure if Decker would count this in his snake totals or not. I didn't see or hear anything. 
 

I also finished Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. Lots of quotable quotes.
