Swim - 25minutes (about 2.5 running miles)

Spin Class - 45 minutes (about 4.5 running miles)

I feel so discouraged today.  When my doctor called withe my bone scan results, he told me I could swim and bike.  That has what I've been doing - I haven't cheated because I know it will only slow down my recovery.  But my foot kills today and I think it is from spin class.  I feel like I keep taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

Running always gives me such a high.  I am addicted and going through such serious withdrawals.  I need it and I am a long way from getting it.  I'm just having a downer of a day.  Plus, I'm really tired.  On the days, when I know I am getting up super early (5am), I always wake up in the middle of the night fearful that I have slept through my alarm.  Silly - I know.

I need to find 4 parents to help with a class party - those phone calls are SO not fun!  No one ever wants to volunteer!

You are smart to follow dr.'s orders. So sorry about not being able to run. Not much compares to completing an awesome run in the early morning hours! Good luck with your foot and getting parents to help with the party.

I'm sorry you're feeling down today. I hope that tomorrow is better.

I'm afraid I'm one of those parents who doesn't like to volunteer. But it's because I spend all day at work.

I am sooo sorry about your foot and the no-running. I know no running really stinks. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't run. I totally understand the running addiction. Hope your foot heals fast so you can get back to running soon.

I used to have to call parents to volunteer...so NOT fun! Hope everything works out and you have a better day tomorrow!

Thanks for all the kind words. Time and lots of time is what it needs (too bad that I'm ready to GO now). :)
