Long run with 6 miles of tempo. Sounds easy, but it wasn't. We planned to run with naomi for 5 and then drop her off with a sitter. She woke up around 5 so I was happy I didn't have to wake her up. Ran 3 miles to drop off the red box and went back to the house. Headed to the babysitters after that. David had to do an hour tempo, so he left at that point. I continued until 8. I had anxiety about the 6 miles the entire run. Splits (my goal was 7:30, since that is my MGP) 7:12 7:18 7:03 7:08 6:54 7:04 2 mile cool down Kinda all over the place but it felt good for the most part. I'm getting anxiety about the race because I don't know how I will deal with the weather if it's humid and hot! Things I can't control. I just want a good marathon, is that too much to ask for? |
