Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

Trying to decide what to do with my running.  Go up to the mountains?  Hit the TM?  This air is terrible!  Worst in the nation. 

So...I went on the TM 5 miles and 2 miles on the track.   Pretty sure I have a STRESS FRACTURE in my lower left leg. GGRRRR.  I am so frustrated.  I am taking the week off from running. Doesn't ever help that I won't slow down for the life of me when I am on the TM. 

Hopefully I will me ready for next week, but most likely no.  

Lifted weights for 1 hour.

Elliptical 1 hour between 8-11 on the intensity.  Zero pain while I was doing this.

1 hour weights.  125 pushups, 80 tri pushups and much more.  

I feel fat.

MandP workout.  Stepped up to heavier weights.

1 hour spin class.

30 minutes on elliptical.

Triathlon training in session!  Not by choice.

AM Swam a mile plus change in 40 minutes.  I think I forgot how to swim.  I kept running into the lane and now there is a big bruise on my elbow.  And people tell me running is dangerous? 

PM spin class.  I worked my HR up to 180.  No matter how hard I work, I swear it will not go past that.  I have found that I really enjoy spin class because I get to close my eyes.  Crazy, but for some reason closing my eyes helps.

Body feels good.  Gotta love xtraining!

Spin class with Coach Mike.  I swear this guy is a coach of some sorts.  He came to class in a BYU jump suit ready to kick our trash.  When the class started he was hardly on his bike, he was down on the floor encouraging the class.  He asked me if I was biker because of my biking form.  I am told him I am a runner! 

This is was the first class of the week that actually felt like I was on my real road bike.

MandP workout.

No work today so I came home and slept.

I still have not gone to the doctor's to seek an opinion on my leg.  All of the signs of my leg are pointing to a stress fracture, and that's that.  I am not running for a few weeks until I am healed.  Besides, it's a great excuse to get out of the smoggy pollution.  I am little depressed that I won't be able to run Painter's, but such is life.

1 hour spin class with SPANDEY a.k.a Skinny Danny.  His class is one of my least favorites.  About half of the class I spend thinking how obnoxious he is.  I still managed to have a dang hard workout.

90 minutes of pool running with RAD!!!  Those 90 minutes flew as we chatted in the small pool.  It was so great to spend time with a great friend that is going through some of the same frustrations I am.  Way to stay motivated Rachel!  We will be back at the pool before you know it.

My leg feels awesome.  Well, until I start doing jumping jacks.
