2.5 mile warm up on the TM. I was enjoying the workout until the fire alarm went off in the building. Everyone was evacuated. Forced me to run outside...which was good for me. 10k in 46 minutes! 7:48 pace up and down Vernal Avenue!

AWESOME RUN! It was actually quite pleasant outside today, so I am glad you got out there! And MAN you are FAST. What is up with all of these fast people?? I need to join a new blog.

From Becca on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 15:34:00 from 205.123.38.98

Whatever Kelli! Miss 1:41 Half Marathon! You are the speedster. I am excited to see you at the race this week.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 15:43:30 from 68.76.197.194

That's what I love about Kelli. She's nice enought to lie to you and tell you how much faster you are than she. I know it's not all together true, but it makes me feel good.

From RAD on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 15:44:03 from 67.166.99.8

Becca, great run! A 7:48 pace for a 10K is awesome!! I'm proud of my ONE 7:37 this morning, and I think that nearly killed me. You really are doing great and I can't wait for you to kick my trash this Saturday :) Maybe I can tie myself to you and you can drag me...then I won't be last :)

From Smooth on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 16:57:36 from 71.36.65.79

A 46 min 10K is actually average pace of 7:24. All those fast miles you're logging is FAST!!! You're gonna PR at Boston. Are you running the Riverton 1/2? You will win it. It will be fun to see you.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:08:40 from 71.219.76.202

I can not run 10k's, I do not even warm up until 6-7 miles! So, you are running Riverton??? I am going to do a marathon pace run for at least the 1st 8 miles, then I may slow down or speed up (I am guessing slow down based on how I feel today!)

You can totally beat a 1:41 marathon, I watched you run 20 something miles on Saturday, remember??

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:15:48 from 71.219.76.202

WHOA-----I did not see Burt's reply there. Look over to the left and see what little Miss Bec's half marathon time is. Better yet, look at her St George time!! She IS faster than me. And, Burt, so are you. Taller, too.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:31:07 from 68.76.197.194

Uh-huh. I see Spanish Fork Half PR 1:41. Let's see what Kelli's PR for a HM is... Oh, wow. Hobblecreek Half 1:40:35. I know you're not great at math, but come on. You're just too sweet, Kelli.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:35:01 from 71.219.76.202

Oh my heck, Burt, you make me laugh. I am better at math than you think, I just fake dumb!

Hobblecreek is easy, Spanish Fork is not. Go check Sasha's race predictor thingy! Plus, I ran with this woman and she was so far ahead of me that she did like 3 extra miles in the same amount of time! And she ran with speedy Scott.

I am NICE and Bec is FAST!! Maybe we are both fast and one of us just does not know it....

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:40:34 from 68.76.197.194

You're both fast. I'm getting there but not quite yet. The End.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:43:59 from 71.219.76.202

Ok.

From Smooth on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:50:18 from 71.36.65.79

K, can I chime in? Kelli is FAST and NICE. She does not lie though. She means what she says about Bec being FAST. I saw Bec on that Spanish Fork Half. She ran it like nothing and ran 4 more afterwards. I have not seen Kelli run fast because when she runs with me, she keeps it nice and slow for ME. But from reading her splits and paces, I KNOW she is FAST. Now if you do the age adjustment factor, Kelli would be consider a more fit/faster runner. I'm not saying you're old, Kelli. You're just older than Bec by a tiny bit. The End.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 19:07:18 from 71.219.76.202

Oh, what a funny conversation! I think we are all fast, and Burt is leading the pack with his extremely tall self and long legs and speedy splits and tacos and root beer floats and a budding garden and cute kids and whatever else I have left out!!!!

I lie a lot about what I eat! But I have to or I get yelled at.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 19:26:10 from 68.76.197.194

Thanks for the compliments. Let it be known that I in no wise was implying that Bec was slow. Only that Kelli tends to "exaggerate" things a bit especially when it comes to me. (MY legs aren't that long. Well, they do reach the floor.) Double The End.

From Bec on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 19:58:03 from 205.123.38.98

WOW! I step away from the blog a few hours and look what happens!

Kelli,

You are fast, we both know that. You are nice, we ALL know that. I'm excited to see you this Saturday. Plan to kick my trash because I am not planning on racing full-out. My goal is to do some marathon pace miles and see what happens. After the race I want to tag on about 3 more miles.

Burt,

Yes, Kelli is fast. I don't know you, but Kelli does exagerate. ;)

Smooth,

You are just too sweet, and fast too, if I might add.

I'm excited to see everyone on Saturday! Happy running!

From Burt on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 20:05:10 from 68.76.197.194

Bec, you might have missed me doing a fist pump in the air when you agreed with me. And I think Smooth is the nicest person I've never met.

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 23:06:34 from 71.219.76.202

My husband would be so offended that y'all think I exaggerate he might just come after you with a taser. Oh, no, wait, he would tell you that you are right. DANG! And then he would laugh at me and say, "I told you so!" (But his mom is worse, for the record.)

Bec, what is your marathon pace as of now? I plugged the Moab half into the race predictor and it says my pace for Ogden should be 8:17. So, since Ogden is next, that is my goal for this Saturday. We might just be running the same pace since we are both the fastest chicks on the block!

From Bec on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 10:35:05 from 205.123.38.98

Kelli,

I really don't know what my MP is yet. These next two weekends will determine that. I was just shooting for the good ol' 8:22, I would like to surprise myself.

You will take it to the extreme at Ogden. I can see a marathon PR in your NEAR future.

I am planning to do Boston and MAYBE Utah Valley. No Ogden for me, that course has messed with my mind in the past. Maybe I will PR at Utah Valley? I don't really know what to expect at Boston. Under 4 hours would be nice :).

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:08:53 from 71.219.100.181

Why does Ogden mess with your mind? I need to know these things!!! See, no one told me how hard Moab was (they said they did not want to scare me). BUT I wish I had known. I did see that Sasha's race predictor gave it a much slower time, but I did not realize that meant it would about kill me to run it (mentally, mostly). Tell me all about Ogden...
