Taper week sure has me tapered. I always forget that I feel fat, rested, and energized. Last night I went to bed about 10. I could not get to sleep. The night was filled with strange dreams, waking up every hour, and being extremely cold. At 5 I woke up ready to go! I had to force myself to rest. 6 came around and I felt like I had slept in. I think this is a good sign.
Went to the gym and did 15 min elliptical, 1 fast mile on the track, 15 more minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of stretching. Headed to Mesquite today. I have the marathon "gitters." This will be an interesting race and I am excited to let everyone know about it!
