Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

I did better than I expected! I didn't know if I would be able to do 45 min, so I surprised myself. I have not done a 10k for years, so I don't know really what I was up against, as far as times. Loved the downhill course. I struggled the last mile. Overall pace 7:01. I was first in my division because I am Athena!!!! Yay for Athena!!! Nice to have a speedy race to build running confidence.

So many cool people were at this race. I saw Teena, Smooth, Shimelle, Julie, and RAD!!! I met Sasha, so great to finally meet him, (he is so dang fast!) I then waited to see the winners of the marathon come in, so inspiring! Allie looked so strong as she won the marathon, and it gave me chills to watch her cross the finish line.

Great 10K for having not run one in years that time is smokin'. Some girl passed me saying that at mile 1. She said "I haven't run a 10k since High School". I was hoping high school was maybe like two years ago for her, but she looked my age so nope. Great run today and 1st Age Category. Athena's Rock!!!! PS you don't look athena-like except for the skirt : D
