Warmed up on the indoor track about 1.5 miles.  I felt like I was running in circles.  After I was dizzy I ran 5.5 miles on the TM.  I told myself that today was a recovery day.  I was proud of myself for going so slow.

You run so fast, I'm not suprised you get dizzy :) Great job keeping your pace, sometimes its hard to slow down even if you know you need it. Great job on those pushups too...you all are going to have to sell tickets to your gun show when the challenge is done :)

Bec,

Nice recovery miles. I had dead legs this morning. I think I'm going to be lazy the rest of the day.

You're lucky your parents are planning all the Boston fun stuff so you can concentrate on training. Your dad's gonna love all the history there. You'll have to do a race in D.C. He will go ballistic over there.

RAD,

Hehe. The PC was difficult for me today, barely enough energy to push myself off the ground. No tickets available to this gun show.

Smooth,

My legs are dead too. I think that I am still recovering from the 22 last week. Tomorrow I will have to probably split my workout up and try to get some recovery in between.

Funny you brought up my dad and D.C. he works there a few times a year. He knows that city so well he could give personal tours. I think he will like Boston.

Bec, if you're wanting to do a DC run do the National marathon. I don't know when it is, but my sister used to live there and she raves about that race all the time. I think it is in the spring, because she'd talk about running in the cherry blossoms. Anyway, its a good one...they have a 1/2 too if you'd prefer.

The National Marathon is on March 21 (Sat) this year. I'd love to do it someday.

Seriously Rachel, the gun show? Ok I was eaves dropping, I want to do a DC run also and Im thinking of The Marine Corp Marathon. Its the end of October. I think it'd be real fun. Ive never heard of the National Marathon. That is early in the year. Good run and gun show today Bec!

The supreme court just struck down DC's gun ban, so you should be ok. You still need to register them though.

RAD,

That D.C. run sounds really fun, I would love to do it one year too. My sis lives in Charlottesville (near D.C.)and they have fantastic races as well. In the future I would love to participate in some of those races.

Walter and AzDesMon,

Yes, I will register my guns. I might frighten people when they see me trotting down the road in a dress with massive arms. I wish ;)
