Interval training on the track!  I ran aound the track 120 times this morning, no joke!  I kept running in circles and more circles.  A gal on the track stopped me and asked why I was so crazy.  I told her I had a marathon in 3 weeks.  She then seemed to understnad.  I was dizzy and spent by the end of my workout.  2 mile warm-up, 6 miles of intervals, and 2 mile cool down.  Great workout, nice way to start the week.

Happy Monday everyone!  (I just say this becuase I love Monday's oh so much! NOT)

3 WEEKS!!! 3 WEEKS!!! 3 WEEKS!!!

Wow, you are so awesome! Your at it already! I promise you will cut your times. Youll see. Now make sure you have a nice recovery run slower paced and it will help you get your legs back. I wished I could run Provo with all those going down. Itll be fun.

It was a nice workout today...thank you for the recommendations. Tomorrow I plan to go easy and Weds. knock into a tempo run. Wish you could come to the Provo half too...you would win. Oh well, you'll win in Logan.

120 times?!!! That's nuts!!! Hope you reversed directions a few times. GOOD LUCK at Provo. GO sub 1:40, for sure! You can get lucky and win the scooter. That would be so cool!

Smooth,

Yes I really do run that many times around that track, it's a small one. I want that scooter at the Provo half. That would make every race in my lifetime worth it! Wish you were going to be there this weekend.

I hoped you switched directions every once in a while. I am dizzy just thinking about it.

You are going to be in tip top shape in 21 days and you will kick some behind!

Nice run! 120 around the track deserves an award for patience. Did you feel like a hamster? How did you even keep track?

Kelli and Drickt,

Yes, I did get dizzy on that track, and I did feel like a hamster. I kept track one mile at a time. It was at the end of my workout I realized how many times I really ran around that thing. That track is so small.
