At Aunt Claudia and Uncle Joe's in Tempe, AZ. Out  to McClintock right down to 2nd light past Warner street and back. I realized today that on long morning runs, at about 5 miles I get hungry... silly. :)

We ran out to Foremaster East Ridge and ran up it 7 times. Then we ran back to the school 3 miles for  the AC and a mile for the hills. Lifter 2 sets of 10 LE and LC (8/10).

Slept in this morning. 

Afternoon, we ran the foremaster run. My lower back hurt a lot when I ran for the first few miles, it got a little better ast I got into it, but when I stopped it hurt more again.

In the afternoon, we ran Harts to warmup, then we ran 5x800's: 2:55, 2:54, 2:56, 2:55 and 2:54. Cooldown, then Powderpuff Football Game!!

Rode up on the bus to Provo then ran 1 mile out toa park from our hotel. Played a way fun and huge game of Ultimate Frisbee and ran back to the hotel.

A meet today!! BYU Invite! Ran ok-ish got a 20:57, 41st place that Hannah girl from Cedar beat me again. I didn't feel so good mostly, my left leg is dumb overall. Last year's time was 21.42.

Morning run to AC, way way fast w/only coach. 

Afternoon, we ran to Sunrise Tire, then up Foremaster 7 times. I clocked the hill and it is .22 miles up it. Hills were good, my last ones were especially fast. And then we ran back.

We ran the hospital run, we stopped about halfway to cool down with ice and water (btw, I got new shoes yesterday). Then we finished it out (Ally and I) but she left to go to the lake. Then we ran 6x100 strides and lifted. Bench 50, squat 80, situps/backups 5, LE 8, LC 10. All 3x10.

Afternoon we ran big grass loop warmup, then 5x800s on the grass loop. My times were good: 2:51, 2:50, 2:49, 2:49, 2:44. I feel way sore and crappy because I'm getting sick.

We ran the firestation loop from the high school. It was supposed to be a recovery run, but Ally and I ran a bit faster than that. My legs and abs are still way sore and now I'm all congested and sore throat-y. :(

A meet today!! Murray Invite! My favorite course! It rained and the course was all muddy. I fell down on the short, steep dirt/mud hill, and lost the lead pack, but I felt pretty strong (not great, but good) my cold is worse, but I got 28th and 20:47 (better than last week at BYU). Last year's time: none, Freshman year: 23:01.

Meet today! Enterprise! The race went well, I started out with Kierstin Blauer, but she fell behind on the first few hills. I pushed pretty hard and got 1st place! 19:22 - all right.  Our team took 1st place too - boys and girls! Ally got 4th and Lindsay got 10th! AWESOME! Last year - 20:23.

Race today! Swiss Days 5k! I felt really good, it was cold (40 F) at the start, but ok. My first mile was kinda slow and my second was a little faster, but my third was way fast. I got a new 5k PR - 19:31. First in 15-18 group and second overall.

We ran our 8 miler today. It's like the hospital run, but longer. I was really tired during the run, and the sandy part in the middle was a killer! Then weights after. I bumped up weights on all: B55 S85 LE9 LC11 ABS10. (Last time lifting.)

Arctic Circle. (Last morning practice!)

In the afternoon, we did some speed work: first we did a big grass loop warmup, then 4x400's w/o stops (1:25, 1:25, 1:25, 1:24) a bigger rest, then 4x200's (38, 38, 38, 37) then big grass loop cool down and partner stretches. I felt like I went slower than I could've/should've gone.

A meet today! Cedar Invitational! Race went ok-ish, my first mile was fast, but my legs were dead and I had a bad attitude for the rest. Time was 19:22, worse than last time here (19:18) but close. And better than last year at this race (19:47). Oh and I got 13th place.
