| | Ran from my house, down to 9th east and 4800 south, then over to Wheeler Farm which is roughly 6200 south. It is exactly 2.5 miles to the gate of the farm. Fun run. One I definitely will do again. This summer sun and heat feels absolutely amazing! I hope Price is this nice. 8:03 avg. Did my core when I got home.

| | It snowed today.... So i decided to do the treadmill. I went over to the Lions club and ran 5 on the treadmill. Averaged 8:10. Did leg, arms, and core work after.

| | Met up with Suzette and the student life center and we did on the track. Then we went down and did a ton of weights and things after. My upper body strength definitely has some work to do.

| | Today I just went 4 miles around my neighborhood. Ran from my house, up to 13th east, over to 3900 south, down to 11th east, over to 4500 south, back up to 1300 east, and home. I love this run because it is a nice 4 mile loop with rolling hills. I came home and did my core and drills. I was definitely sore from all of the weights Suzette and I did yesterday. Since I hit my weekly mileage a day early, if I have time, I will try to run more miles tomorrow in Price. Goodbye Salt Lake City, hello Price.

| | My aspirations of running while in the field did not work out,.... But camping for 12 days really does exhaust someone. I got home late last night. This morning, I slept in and went for my run. I ran from my house, up to highland drive, over to 45th south, down to 1300 east and back home. Felt great to be running again. Did my core when I got home.

| | Happy Birthday, Mom! Today I ran up to the Lions Club Rec Center, which is about a mile. Then I ran 2 miles on the treadmill. Did leg weights, arm weights, and my core at the rec center, then ran home. I felt very tired and my legs were very heavy. But I am noticing my fitness is slowly coming back.

| | It is time I start doing morning workouts because it was HOT. I did the usual 3 mile loop. Stopped at the horse park for my drills. Luckily the sprinklers were on so I was sprayed and it felt absolutely amazing. Came home and made pizza for breakfast, but I burned my hand on the oven..... Ugh. Will do my core and weights tonight with Austin.
This afternoon I did a mile warm up, then I did 2 hours worth of weights. Then I cooled down for a mile.

| | Ran from my house over to 4500 south, down to 1100 east, over to Cottonwood complex. This put me at 1.5 miles. I stretched for a couple minutes which felt amazing. Then I did the first mile and a half of the regions course which was WAAAAAY hot. Ran home after. Did my core. Felt amazing today. The only problem was the heat. Morning runs start tomorrow.

| | Got up this morning and drove to the East High track. I ran the shriners run that we would run in high school. It was fun to run this again. I love this run. I really turned up the gears on the way back. Stopped and stretched at the drinking fountain. Came home and drank a protein shake. I lov running. Now to go study for the GRE. Graduate school here I come.

PM: Met up with Levi and Danny. Ran an outside lap around SHP then an inside lap. The heat really takes it out of you. Felt good after. I wasnt tired during the run from the run, just from the heat.

| | Today was my first track workout in a year and a half... and OH MAN DID IT SHOW! I met up with Levi and Danny and did laps warm up then laps of J's. We stretched, drenched our heads because it was 100 degrees today and started the workout. We did 5x300 then an 800. Since I hadnt been on the track, or done speed in a long time, I was going for 80's. We did continuous 300's where we jogged the 100 as recovery. Times went like 60, 59, 59, 57, 60, 60. We all took turns leading. Then the 800 I went 2:41. Levi and Danny destroyed me on that. I was so exhausted. Then we did a mile and a quarter as cooldown. Did my core when I got home. I feel amazing right now.

| | Met at SHP and did the state cross country course. The workout was 5 miles with 4x1 minute strides whenever you felt like it. I did the course and did my strides up all of the hills on the course to get a little hill work in also. After that, I added a half mile waiting for Larry, Levi, and Danny. When they showed up I did an inside lap in the park with them. Feel really good. Came home and did my core.

| | Met up with Levi and Danny at SHP for a run. We started inside the park and ran to 21st south and along 15th east until 9th south. Stopped and stretched for a couple minutes then we came back. Hit the drinking fountain on the way back. Good run, hopefully the endurance and breathing is slowly coming back.

| | Met up with Danny and Levi at SHP for a longer run. We ran up to 17th east, over to 27th south and up to Tanner park and took the trail along the freeway. We took the trail the entire way to foothill and took foothill until 21st south. Ran down 21st south and back to the park. This is my longest run in a LONG time and it absolutely killed me. I was alright for the first like 5.5 miles, then I was dying... I was running downhill and doing miles slower than 9 minute pace.... My breathing is slowly coming along, just not fast enough.

| | Met at the HHS track for a speed workout. I started with a 6 lap warm up then 2 laps of J's. Stretched, soaked our heads, and heard the workout. It was 4x400, 400 recovery, 1200 and 400, 400 recovery, 1 all out 400. 400's went 85, 80, 80, 80. I then ran to the bathroom and missed most of the 1200 so I did the last lap with Danny. We ran 79. Lap recovery. We finished the workout with an all out 400 in 69. cooled down until 5 miles. 4 days until ECUADOR! |

| | My first ever lunchtime run. Ran from NHMU along shoreline trail for 10 minutes and back. I got back early so I decided to do drills and hill repeats by the museum. I have worked here for 8 months and have never ran from work. WHY?! I work at the best place to run. Good run! Feeling my legs coming back.
