Met up with the group this afternoon. DId a mile and a half warm up then 8x150 meter strides. The workout was 3x(200, 300). My times went 35, 56, 34, 55, 33, 55. Then we did 8 barefoot strides on the grass. Cooled down until 5 miles.
Ran to tiny tots this afternoon. I ran along 19th east, then I ran up sunnyside and did the VA loop and ran around sunnyside park through the sprinklers, then I ran down to the East track for tiny tots and finished at 5.
Met up with Ida this morning to do a long run. We ran an part of an outside lap then we turned on 1700 east and went to 2700 south and ran that up, along the Beat the Air 5k course, up to Tanner or Donner park or whatever park that is, then we stopped at the drinking fountain and IT WAS OFF!:( So we stretched for a little while then we got on parleys trail and ran 1.5 miles out on that to get to 5 then we came back the same way. We stopped at the Maverik to get water and we ran through the sprinklers. I think it is time for me to get new shoes because my knee started hurting last night and it hurt today. Not enough to stop but it definitely was noticeable.
