Married with 2 lively boys. I love running and I love getting faster. Just trying to figure out how to balance life between being a mother, wife, part time nurse, and runner. :)

When I was in 6th grade I filled out a Getting to Know You sheet. Under nicknames I wrote, "My brothers call me Boo Legs, I think its because I run fast." (It really came from the movie, Strange Brew) And its been my family nickname ever since.

1/2 mile repeats with 3 minute recovery jog in between. This was a confidence booster for me. The goal was to start at 3:20 and work my way down for 10 repeats. It went like this: 3:20, 3:19, 3:18, 3:17, 3:16, 3:15, 3:14, 3:13, 3:12, 3:11. I did this on a treadmill so I was able to go exactly a second faster each time. I felt good. My goal for Huntsville is to be in the 3:20-3:15 range. I'm hopeful.

Up and up and up to the Draper temple and back. Feeling weird pains in my groin and hamstrings. I know its nothing serious but still annoying. Still feeling off and blah. Excited to find out how big cottonwood went for everyone.
