We didn't have too many kids at practice today.  The ones that were there with me ran up around the res and down Emeline to the trail and back to Monarch.  I started with the boys and ended up running with little Lucy.  She ran awesome today and we picked off some of the boys toward the end.  Our last 3 miles were under 7 min pace, not bad for a little Freshman.  7:27 pace for the run.  Enjoyed our last warm day for a while.

I talked to the race director of the Nike SW Regional Championships and they are letting us be in the race after all.  What an opportunity for my guys who sucked it up so bad at State after having a great season.  Nothing like a second chance!

I had the kids do a workout in the playground today.  Nice and chilly too, about 47 degrees.  I ran one of the mile repeats with the JV boys and Haag in 6:15 on our course.  Connor and the boys had a good workout today.  5.2 miles for me and varsity boys ended up with just over 8 miles.

We ran from Rosecrest Park up to the top of the Cove and back.  I am sore from the last couple of days and finally warmed up half way through the run.  The boys all had a good run today.  I ran the first half alone and the second half with Connor.  It was a nice day and the conversation was good.  Averaged 6:58 for the run and the last 3 miles were under 6:20 pace.
