Personal: I have a wonderful wife and son and we live in Riverton/Herriman Utah. I am a high school teacher, and head coach for cross country and track at Mountain Ridge High.

| Ran with Greg from the High School up Mirabella around Butterfield and back on 6400 W and Main. Pace felt decent and we picked it up on the way back and finished the 7 miles with a 6:12 mile. I ran an extra mile in 6:37 to finish my run. One of the better runs I have had in a while. 55:27 for the 8 miles. Lifted upper body after. I was beat after this workout today!

| Ran up 13400 S to 6400 W, and back on the trail with Greg. Legs were a little tight, but I was more tired than anything. Everyone around me has been getting sick lately, so I hope i can stay healthy. We kept the pace easy, so the run wasn't bad. Nice afternoon for January! 7:28 pace

| Ran with and behind my track guys today. We did a loop down to the Rec Center via Main and back on 12600 S., then around the school. 5.5 miles in 38:29. I am feeling some minor aches and pains, probably because I am not used to the miles yet. Lifted upper body afterward.

| Ran down to Monarch for practice. When I got there I realized that practice was at Rosecrest, so I took the fastest shortest way there. Did 4 miles with Greg and the boys around the Cove pond and back. Then ran home on Leila. The legs were tired and I didn't feel like running today, but I ended up with 7.5 miles, I just took it easy and I was fine. Now I just need 7 more miles in 2 days, and that shouldn't be a problem even with my crazy busy weekend. 7:35 pace |

| Got up to run before my conference this morning. It was cold when I left, around 20 degree. I didn't feel great yesterday and still don't feel great today, but good enough to suffer through 7 cold miles. I went out to the Cove pond and back. It was slow going at first and I progressed into a good pace by the end. 51:00 for the run. Got my mileage goal of 33 miles for the week. |
