At the track while my son had a driving lesson at the HS. Jogged in the 6th lane 5x around, then 8 x 1:00 hard with 1:00 recovery. Much of the hard minutes were down the back stretch into a pretty good breeze, which helped bc it was warm and sunny. Pace started modest (6:45) but gradually increased to between 6:11 and 6:23 for the last 4. Tried to stay relaxed but running faster is still new and still involves too much extra weight on board.
