This morning my alarm went off and I could not move. I sat up and could not wake up. I tried so hard, but I could not fight the fatigue my body was feeling. When this happens to me, this usually means my body needs a rest. And so, I did just that. I lay back down and drifted off to sleep.

The suck part is that I felt guilty all the rest of this day so far. So, I am hoping that later on this evening, if it's not raining, I can escape for a run outside. I am missing the outside a lot so...

Side note: considering running sapper joe this year. Whatdya ya'll think?

Which distance? You could win the 50k. Get ready to climb!!! So excited if you do it.

And you should really think about doing Antelope Island Buffalo Run. I would say do the 50k, but that is just doing the 25k twice. Might be more fun to just do the single loop. But you should do one of them, for sure.

I was looking at the 50k. But I am stil undecided :)

I need to work on my climbing skills. Lake Mnt here I come! ( I like to call it Nightmare Mnt. after the dirty work it did on my quads last summer ouch!)

I always have the worst days if I don't run. Because of the guilt and the crankiness.

Sapper Joe is fun. I like the little finishers medals.

Well, a few times on Lake Mountain and you'd be fully ready for the 50k. I have a great long run up and around Lake Mountain that would get you prepared for the climbing. It simulates the course pretty well.

Oh Catherine let's see, you did run that last year right? I know your husband did.

Jun so your volunteering to train me for it then right???? :) haha

Of course I will. Through the winter we can do assaults of Lake Mountain, View Benchmark, and other smaller peaks. Come spring we can hit the Grove Creek - Big Baldy loop, Squaw Peak, and more. Trust me, you'll be ready.

That being said, I'm also going to be really careful about how well I train you. I'm pretty sure you'll beat me. I already won't race against Kelli.

Hmmmmm. I might have to run Sapper Joe this year. For some reason I thought it was the same day as the Ogden Marathon, which my wife is running.

I'm signed up for the Buffalo Run 50k.

Lily - I did whatever was the shortest option. I'm not at all a fan of running up mountains. But yes, Eric did the 50k and he really liked it.
