I have a little sore throat and my lower back is a bit achy. Why now?

Phantom pains. They don't mean anything. Put it out of your mind.
OK, key ingredients for success: 1. Eat a good breakfast tomorrow. 2. Have something warm to wear prior to the start, its chilly up there. 3. Get some good sleep tonight. I hope you are staying up there. 4. Have fun!!!

I agree with Jun, phantom pains...most everyone feels like crap the day before a race and has the jitters and doubts. You will do great in your debut!
