This course was uphill for about the first 3 miles in the dirt and rocks. I sucked. I couldn't keep up. I wanted to die. I ran the last two downhill miles fast to make up.In turn that caused me to roll both my ankles slightly. I suck. But I will be back up there again on my own time to learn to conquer it because that's just how I am.

You were so awesome up there Lily! For being your first ever trail race and only your second trail run you kicked a lot of butts up there. It was fun seeing you, even though I didn't see you much until the finish :)

Sorry about the rolled ankles! Taking 2nd AG on your very first trail race is very AWESOME!

Welcome to the world of trail running. Once you go dirt, you never go back.
