Strength trained legs today. Then high intensity intervals on the elliptical again.
I've only run a couple time in the last 11 days. I know it hasn't been that long but I miss it more than you can imagine.

I know the downtime from running sucks but you'll thank yourself a thousand times over the rest of the year for being smart about this

You're right. And that's the only thing that keeps my hope alive. Even if UVM doesn't become my PR target, Hobble Creek will turn into that. My calf is feeling tons better already. I am not going to try running until next week sometime. :(

Jake is right and I am glad your calf is starting to feel better. That is a very good sign.
When I can't run hiding behind signs and throwing water balloons at runners as they pass by always makes me feel better. :)

Sorry you are dealing with this calf thing, Lily. Keep resting, good thoughts.

Glad you are taking the time to heal. It is going to pay off for sure :)

I can imagine ;) Keep strong, you are working out like a beast- when you do run again you will more than ready!
