Ran 8 miles with Julie on the dreadmill. We did speedwork together. Then elipticall for 40 minutes. Kind of a cardio overload. Worked my core before I left. It's Saturday and raining, and all I am doing is housework. Could this recipe get any worse? ugh

It's not so much a dreadmill when the other option is going home to crazy kids and housework tho, right? I enjoyed our run, even the speedwork. Thanks!

I'm new to the blog. I think you totally rock! I hear you about the housework and dreary Saturday, ugh!

From Lily on Sat, Oct 23, 2010 at 14:27:39 from 67.199.181.73

Now that you put it that way Julie, ya, not such a dreadmill. I'd kinda rather be back there doing speedwork again about now. :P

Carina welcome to the blog! You will love the FRB! It is such a motivation to see what others are doing. I will add you to my list and check on you :)

ugghh...the rain is making me crazy already. I'm not ready for fall! Nice work this morning, even if it was the dreadmill. Like Julie said - at least it's better than the alternative :)

Sorry I didn't get to meet you this morning! Hopefully there will be a next time. :)

From Lily on Sat, Oct 23, 2010 at 21:26:17 from 67.199.181.73

Sorry Allie and Catherine. I could tell once it got lighter outside that things would have been fine. Dang it. I really could have used a good outside run. Next time, next time.

Yesterday weather was yucky, and today's weather isn't any better. If tomorrow weather doesn't improve, runners are going to get wet.

From allie on Sun, Oct 24, 2010 at 16:35:20 from 174.23.232.22

twinkies - the rain means we get to run in our swimming suits/shorts. right? :)

From Twinkies on Sun, Oct 24, 2010 at 16:47:43 from 24.2.82.73

Yes, but only if you have a hot tub nearby to jump in after.
