My garmin is officially dead and gone. Hard and soft resets are not working at all. That thing cost $370, so this really bothers me that 2.5 years later it is having issues. So I am now running clueless as to how far and how slow/fast.

So todays mileage is a guess.

My legs are still very sore from strength training them on Wed. So I drank some BCAA mix today and will again later. This helps repair soft tissupe.I also still feel a lot of fatigue when I run. So I am having my thyroid checked next Friday. Maybe It's time to not be a fast runner, or a blogger anymore. Everything is going wrong

Do you upload your Garmin to garminconnect or track mapping and whatnot? If not, and all you care about it distance and pace you should try the Soleus GPS watches. $100, as accurate as a garmin (I've tested and can verified), look like a real watch and can be worn as one with the gps off. They just don't upload to a computer or track vertical gain/loss. Totally awesome though.

Mapmyrun dot com... It's close enough!

Although that still stinks and is annoying. That's why I have the cheapest model they make

Running can be so emotional. It's a bummer we are so passionate about it or it might be worth dropping. Hang on :)

I have had luck letting the battery completely drain and then recharging it. Sorry :) How was your race today?
