An hour on the eliptical and 36 minutes on the treadmill. Julie and I ran barefoot for about .30 of a mile. Then I went on to run another 4.25 practicing cadence and all that jazz.We went to a running technique class last night at runners corner and learned some really great things. We know individually what we need to work on. I am heel striking at times, but I am also kind of recovering from it because I do pull my feet under my body, and bend my knee, absorbing more of landing. So in essence it's not a very bad heel strike. However now that I know this, I am going to work on better mid strike. Having said all that, I should've just taken the day off because I am TIRED. I got comments and questions at the gym from some about if I wasn't feeling well, or that I look tired. If people are saying or asking that, then my fatigue must really be showing up on my face. Maybe tomorrow I can sleep in and be lazy. We'll see. |
