8 mile progression till mile 5. then 1/2 mile repeats @6:35 pace with .25 recovery in between. HARD holding a 6:35, especially on a darn dreadmill!

I'm at the gym now on elliptical hell next to Frankenstein! His mouth is hanging open, moaning and groaning and everything. I kinda want to puke. It doesn't get anymore side show than this!

My day's great! Thanks for asking. How are you feeling after all that hard training?

From Lily on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 09:10:31 from 67.199.178.95

I am feeling good actually. A few months ago that would have been a different story. I was trashed after every big or small training run. Then I had my hormones tested and found out my thyroid, testosterone and vitamin D levels were low. Got on meds and I have tons of energy for the most part now. Weeeell, except yesterdays run, I didn't eat enough the day before. blaaah

Carina when you mentioned that you used to do 1/2 mile repeats, I thought about it, and I used to do them too! About 3 years ago. I was hardcore back then, and never let my body rest. Probably why under my feet started hurting that year.

That's great that you were able to get medication that works for you. My mom has thyroid issues as well and I know things were difficult before she got medication to stabilize everything.

Eating enough is my #1 challenge!
