I ran the first 8 miles of the Newton Hills treadmill run.  I haven't done this in a few weeks and it was tough.  I also did my core work out.

Met the BBK's at Peggy's house this morning.   After the warm up we ran up and down a long hill 4 times.  Then we found a shorter hill that we ran 6 hill sprints on.  I felt something pull in my left hamspring on the first sprint, so I took it easy on the next 5.  Then we ran back to Peggy's house.  It was a great run.  3 miles at marathon pace on the long hills and the rest of the miles were slower. 

Ab workout and 5 sets of 10 push ups.

Met the BBK's at the 9800 S. trailhead.  We warmed up for 1.5 miles, ran a 3.5 mile tempo run,  then we cooled down.  Our last tempo mile was a 7:12 pace.  I haven't run that fast in a while.  It felt great.

I ran with Jody, Cheris, Michelle M., Dean and Alan.  We started at Cheris' house.  We ran out to 2200 W.  Out 6 and back.  We ran 4 miles easy, 2 miles at 8:30, 1 mile at 7:40, 2 miles 8:30, 1 mile at 7:40, then mod/easy for the final 2 miles.  Average pace 8:40.   It was a good run.
