AM- Great tempo workout with the team! I mixed in with most all of the groups at one point or another. I'm really enjoying coaching so far this year! I'm excited for what lies ahead. 7.11 miles 

PM- Dawson and I went up up to Pine Valley to hike Whipple. I of course took us on the wrong trail and followed the creek too long. So we bush whacked and rock climbed trying to find the trail. We eventually retraced our steps and found the trail. We weren't able to reach the summit because of a dinner appointment. We still made it 3 miles up the trail then 3 miles running down the trail. Cooled off in the creek afterwards. 3.55 miles (of actual running)

AM- Ran 2.59 around the hood and a little on the golf course. Half road and half grass then striders. I chatted with Carson and Timothy. Ran 2.65 after weights trying to find my Dad (Luke said he was running by Costco). 9.27 miles 

PM- Mayors Loop with Aaron in some crazy headwind. 5.16 miles

AM- Hilly run towards Grapevine with the tunnels. Mixed in with different groups. Talked with Sadie and Alli about the party and the girls' goals. Also ran fast with Trey for about a mile. 6.01 miles

AM- Tour de Washington. Made our way down to Sandbergs with level 1. Then ran with Elijah, Bentley, Grant, and Nic. Weights after. 5 miles 

PM- I missed my run with Aaron because of family BBQ. Needless to say it was hard to get out and run after eating 4 gyros. 2.03 miles

AM- A couple of 5 minute tempos with the girls. I tried to move around to different groups and it became a little problematic because they were spaced out far. I got a tempo in with Laney and Brecken. Then part of a tempo with Allison, Sadie, and Jenna. Then last one with Pyper, Kennis, Emma, Elijah, and Nic. Striders after. 7.83 miles 

PM- Mayors Loop with Aaron. Felt pretty good. 5.15 miles

WHIPPLE TO FORSYTH

I started out really conservative but strong. The first 3 miles were straight uphill. The trail was more rugged and not maintained very well. Both Ross and I pushed well but were overwhelmed by the climbs. I had been wanting to do a challenging trail run so I'm grateful I got out today.


Saw Steve Ott's dad, Logan Hall and Josh Hardman on the trail. When we got to Forsyth trailhead my Dad biked back to the Whipple trailhead to get my car. I ran to the church and saw T-Rav Roberts cruise by me. 

22.15 miles covered (about 18.15 of legit running) 

6,231 vertical feet
