| Lunch- 9 miles with the guys. Still feeling under the weather and tired from not enough sleep so it was a struggle to keep up. Beautiful weather for running, though- about 60 deg and overcast.

| PM- PM with Barry and Seth. Seth and I were sick and slow. 50's, cloudy, misty, a bit rainy- felt pretty nice, though my glasses kept fogging up. Still fun. Not much traffic on the trails, of course.

| PM- it was pouring rain at lunch so I went running after work. 5 miles by myself, then 5 with Phil and Jim. Felt better than I expected and was able to keep up well enough.
Jan 15, 1978, Super Bowl XII, Broncos vs Dallas. I was born 9 months later, mid-October.
3 of the 7 young men in my church group were born the same week as me. 7 of the 14 varsity cross country runners on my team in HS were born that same week. My best HS friend was also born that week (talking to you,Michael). I never put it together until I saw this video- we're all Super Bowl babies!

| AM- slow run. Supposed to be 10 miles, cut it off at 6 as I was feeling so bad. Almost stopped at 3. Was doing 8:15-ish pace by the end. Blah.
Cool Runners World articles on Paul and Amber circulating the web today. Neat to see them getting some ink.

| lunch- 3 run, then 3 frisbee. Only 3v4, so a lot more running than usual. Tired.

| Lunch- 4.5 pretty slow miles. No real aims when I set out and I felt very tired, so I was satisfied with 4.5 miles in 38 min. I'm retiring my shoes today- they are almost at 500 miles and my arches hurt when i use them. I have 7 pairs of normal road shoes (not Hokas or racing flats) and 6 of them are at 430+ miles. I better start retiring some and using a few new ones.
