| AM- 5 miles then weights
PM- ran some at the cross country meet. I thought it went well, there were lots of kids that ran hard and improved on their time trial times. Fun to watch them.

| Late afternoon frisbee- hot hot, mid-90's with feels like of 102. 10 people plus one kid. My team was kicking butt at the start (I think we scored the first 4 or 5 points). Sure enough, we lost 5-3 in the real game. I had a couple bad throws.

| Lunch- very hot for frisbee. 6v6 with 1 sub. My team won 5-0, the very rare shutout. I don't think I made a single mistake- no drops. I may have had a bad throw or two but don't remember any.

| 11 people came to frisbee today, other team had a sub. It was very hot, sunny, and humid- everyone was commenting on it. My team started off slow, but picked it up before the game to 5. Chris R threw some good long passes that we did a good job catching- I had 3 or 4 long catches, which is rare for me. A few hard and easy drops, but generally played well. I felt very tired- after a hard sprint, it took a lot longer to recover than usual. My team won 5-3.
PM- Ran 3 miles with Aspen after sundown.

| PM- ran the course twice, plus a lot more running as part of hosting the middle school cross country meet. Fun times- it's a good course, with over a mile of real singletrack through the hills and forest, as opposed to running on football fields for other courses.

| PM- late afternoon frisbee. 13 people, great weather, mid 70's, overcast, slight breeze. Teams were even but my team won 5-2. We won second game 3-0. We let the other team play with their sub for a third game and we really didn't have much motivation, so they won 3-0.
After dinner, I ran 2 miles with Aspen. Felt really dizzy and light headed during the run. Strange, not a real good feeling. Maybe just dehydrated? Already started raining with the hurricane moving through, which is supposed to dump up to 9 inches in 30 hours.

| No run yesterday due to a busy day and the hurricane cancelling XC practice. Played frisbee today- 5v5, cool temps, rather breezy. I had a few turnovers but played ok. My team was down 0-2 and never led until the end when we won 5-4. Fun game. Then straight home to set up new bed and desk for my oldest who is turning 14 today.

| Cross Country practice. Didn't run as much as some days. Did a 1 mile time trial- Aspen asked me to run with her so I pushed her hard. She ran 6:56, which we think is her first sub-7 ever.

| AM- we are firmly in Fall. After having lows in the mid to upper 60's the past few weeks, today was 47 when I ran. Brr. Felt good, extended the run to 8 miles. 8:08 avg with 7:45 last mile. Then weights.

| AM 4 easy.
PM 15 people for frisbee. Teams were skewed right from the start, and we said it even before the game started. But we played poorly, too. My team lost 5-3, and it wasn't that close. Then we lost 0-3. Ouch. I had some bad throws. And some drops. Just poor showing all around.

| Still a bit under the weather but decided to do frisbee instead of a run. 12 people, perfect weather. My team had struggles and was low energy (including me, who ran less than usual). In the game, we were down 0-2 and I thought we were in trouble, but we scored 4 straight before winning 5-3. We lost the next game 1-3.
