| frisbee. I think it was 6v6. Quite the battle, both teams had drops and bad passes, but hard fought. My team won 5-4. One guy from the other team after called me the MVP, that was nice.

| Marci wanted to go running. I honestly think my knee would take much, figured 2 miles. It wasn't fast, running with Marci and Josie. But by george, I made it all 4 miles.

| lots of running and walking around getting set up for my XC meet tomorrow. We've gone from 200 runners to over 300 in just a few years. We don't have the parking for it so are having to be creative. After a week of pleading, I also convinced my AD to get 2 port-o-pottys, not one.

| XC race day. Went very well. I love the course- it's a real XC course running singletrack through the woods, along ponds, mowed weeds and grass, plus it crosses a large stream and then finishes .25 miles up a steep hill! One of the best HS teams in the state helped clean up course markings and their runners said they wish they did races like that. I love it but it's a tiring day for me- I think I did over 12 hours of XC stuff, getting to bed at 2 am. Feeling very worn down and a bit sick.
Our team races well- the girls won and are undefeated in the MS races. Boys did their best yet, placing 3rd.
XC season has 2 more races.

| Lunch- 15 people played frisbee. My team had the sub and was doing well, then we swapped. The game to 5 was ugly, my team got shut out after terrible play (bad throws, dumb throws, bad defense, etc). Been a long time since I lost 0-5. We played again and my team won 3-2.

| lunch- upper body strength class
PM- Conference Championship meet for my XC team. Boys did ok, 4th overall (our 2nd place runner dropped out 75% into the race, otherwise would have been 3rd). Girls remained undefeated this season and won the race in dominating fashion- my runners 5 thru 9 would have won. With the boys getting 4th out of 11 teams, it's the first time either team didn't place 1st or 2nd, and also the first time not having an All-Conference (top 7) finisher. Girls had 2 AC.
Girls team are returning runners 2-8 next year. The one we're losing is one of the best in the state, won 16 of the last 18 races (and the only 2 she lost were to a girl she beat 11 times who is also a state 3A HS XC champ).
I'm always sad when XC coaching season ends, I enjoy being around the runners.
