| | This is what I am going to count as my first training run for my next marathon. Last marathon I trained a little slow, I didnt reqally like it. It made my runs seem like a drag. This run was at night and I did 6 miles. I ran down to main street, went on main street for a little while, then headed back. mile 1 7.08 mile 2 6.54 mile 3 7.13 mile 4 7.36 mile 5 7.48 mile 6 8.16 total 44.55 avg 7.29 max hr 184 avg hr 173 This run was fun, the first part was down hill, then the second was back uphill. It felt good to kind of push it for a training run. |

| | This was my long run for the week. I didnt run yesterday to give my knees a rest. I am hoping that they will be able to handle some running mixed in with some rest when they hurt me a little bit, we will see. mile 1 7.37 mile 2 7.12 mile 3 7.27 mile 4 7.26 mile 5 7.24 mile 6 7.28 mile 7 7.20 mile 8 6.54 total 58.54 avg 7.21 max hr 180 avg hr 164 This was my fastest avg mile run this year. Hopefully I can keep it up. My knees didnt hurt, but I did feel a little tired. Overall it went well. |

My training schedule said to run 3 miles, but I feel that if I want to reach my goals I need to put in a few more miles per week than what it is asking, so I did 6.
I wanted to run fairly fast today to get my heart rate high for a while. I feel like todays run went great. It was raining for most of the time, but I love running in the rain, so it was fun. It was around 60 degrees, and a little bit of wind. Fun run.

5.11 miles, left home at 10:30 pm. I normally would not have done this run, but for my next marathon I have extra motivation (at least I am calling it motivation to be positive, as of now I see it more as an obligation, hopefully that changes). I worked a long day and got home late, then didnt have the drive to go run, so I left late.
My run was supposed to be 6 miles, but I cut it to 5.11 because of a PWRNIT. I think this is my third, and by far the closest to a PIMP.
I started out slow and tired, but eventually got into the swing of things.

Overall this was a good run, ended too short, but I will make up for it on another day this week. |

6.38 miles at 10:00 pm. I think this was the distance, my watch battery was dead, so I used map my run. I did a little bit of hill running. I ran the same 1.4 mile route 4 times. It has a big down hill that is about .3 miles long, then a steep uphill that is about .25 miles, then about .9 miles of gradual down hill.
This was an ok run. I really need to change my diet and the time of day that I run, I am really not liking this running past 10 pm thing. |

10 mile long run for the week. I took it very easy for the last week and a half to try and give my knee some rest. I ran up the canyon and back.
This was a good run for not having run much for the last little while. However, at about mile 7 I had a sharp pain in my knee where it has been hurting. I slowed down a little and changed my form a hair to try and not hurt it more. About 1/4 of a mile later it happened again, but was good after that. After the run it feels good.
