First run since november 16th. It was about 10 degrees. My wife got me the garmin 405 for christmas, so I tested that out. |

12 degrees. Wore long johns, warm up pants, a long and short sleeve tech shirt, wind breaker, turtle fur, beanie, fleece gloves, and 1 pair of socks. Seemed to be a good amount of clothing, I felt just right.

I love my new garmin 405 watch, it is awesome to look at my run inso much detail. |

When I left my house the internet said it was 1 degree, when I got home it said it was -5.
I wore the same thing as yesterday, but the 12-17 degree difference made my bum a little chilly. I will have to wear some basketball shorts when it gets down towards 5 or so degrees.

About 34 degrees outside, left home around 8 am. I wore the same thing that I wore I have been wearing all week, it was a bit too warm, I had to take off the turtle fur at about mile 1.5. The roads were a little icy so I slowed 'er down a hair.

Run 1 mile, walk 1/8 mile, run half mile, walk 1/8 mile, run half a mile.
Kind of a boring exercise. |

6.21 miles at about 11 am.
There was about 3 inches of snow on the roads, and it was snowing while I was running. I really enjoyed this run. |

4.78 miles in the morning for my training run. I have been getting too comfortable with slower than 8 minute miles, so I pushed myself a little bit more and averaged 7:35s. I had wanted to do 5 miles, but I swear my alarm clock didnt go off this morning, so I had to shorten my run to get to class on time.
mile 1 7.44
mile 2 7.33

Today in Dynamic fitness we did indian runs for 20 minutes. Indian runs are where you go at a jogging pace and the person in back sprints to become the person in front. As soon as there is a new front man, the new person in back sprints to become the new front man. My group was slooooooow, at first I swear it didnt feel like more than a brisk walk. I really enjoyed being the man inback, because I would sprint to the front then jog at a quick jogging pace for myself (a fast pace for everybody else in my group), it was fun to see how long it took the back guy to catch me and take my place. This was a more entertaining run, would have been better if it were with a faster group. |
