Really good consistent May. Only 106 miles to my goal.  Feeling much better physically. Not performing does wonders for my physical health.

2.5. mile warm up.  10 laps of hard/easy on the track.  1.6 cooldown. Goal is to finish getting my classroom cleaned up and locked up for the summer.

Wrote my mental treatise on body image and inclusivity in theatre during my run. It was productive.

Only time for a short run today.  The kids have to be at a track meet by 7:30.  So, long run on Monday.  Hoping to increase to 50 next week

Needed a change in venue. Ran Murray Park to Wheeler Farm.  Stopped to pet a baby goat.

Planned on a workout today, but didn't sleep well last night, so I will save it for tomorrow

20 minute warm up.  2 x 1-2-3-2-1 minutes with 1-1-2-1-1 minute recoveries.  Starting to hit sub-6:00 pace for shorter intervals on a more consistent basis.  Maybe I will get relatively fit again.

Took about three miles for my legs to wake up.  They're tired from yesterday

Really early run to knock out the rest of my mileage for the week.  It might sound stupid, but hitting a 50 mile week feels like an accomplishment.  It's been a long time since I have run that much

Going to youth camp this week, so it will be a bit of a cut back.  I will probably front load a bit, and then build again starting next week.

Strength run in Dime Dell with high school kids.  I did not sleep well last night.  It was a bit of a struggle.  Nice job place to run though

A little sore from running in Dimple Dell. Especially the hill repeats.

Was going to do my long run today, but my hip started to tighten up.  Did 8 with two five minute pushes.  Going camping with our youth group today, so probably limited running the next couple of days

Started out the week with a longer run.  Gonna run a 5k Saturday.  It's going to be pathetic.  That's ok.  Fast finish at the end.

Went to the gym to run while Cole cross trained.  He's coming back from a stress fracture.  I hate the treadmill.  Progression run from 7:47/mile to 6:45/mile with 1 minute pushes every five minutes, starting at 6:27/mile and ending at 5.52/ mile.

I didn't fuel very well this morning.  So, I felt nauseous and dizzy when I ran.  Ran from the gym out to the canal road and back on 5300.  Tville 5k tomorrow.  We will see if I can stay ahead of Lily.

Well, that went about how I expected.  Hoping to break 20.  Came close.  Too hard through first mile.  Second half of the race was a struggle fest.  Need to work on upper body strength.  My arms were toast after mile 1.  Lily was about 30 seconds behind me.  3 mile warm up.  2 mile cooldown.  Off to dance rehearsal!

Late rehearsals mess with my sleep. Especially when I do dance.  So, morning runs can be rough.  But, I am trying to keep consistent. Hopefully I will sleep better tonight

A bit short of the 200 mile mark for the month. I missed a bit for camp.  But, way over the 300 mile goal I had planned for May/June.  It's nice to be more consistent.  I would like to hit 400 miles for July/August.  When I start teaching again, it's going to get tough.  And, September will be really rough when I start performances for Bright Star. But, I will do what I can
