Ugh.  That felt rough. I made it though.  Time to get the endurance back up!  7:11 average. I wasn't slow,  Now to recover for a couple days and take on the 5k again.

Not a good day.  Plan was to run the Murray Days 5k.  Warmed up two miles.  Didn't feel great on the warm up. Definitely struggling the first mile of the race.  Hit the turn around.  Tried to pick up the second mile.  Stomach started to cramp badly and felt really dizzy.  Aborted race at 2 miles and went to find a bathroom.  Was sick all day yesterday.   Not sure what was going on.  I think mostly hydration and recovery.  I'm running in the mornings and doing three hours of dancing at night in a hot theatre.  In high heeled dance shoes.  Doesn't mix very well.

I am going to try to focus more on slower aerobic runs.  I think I exist in a perpetual state of extreme tiredness.  So, I put my garmin on the heart rate monitor and focused on staying fully aerobic and ignore pace.  I really love to hammer my runs, so this took an immense amount of restraint.  I started to creep into threshold on the uphills, but managed to keep my heart rate below 150 for the most part.  7:56 average.  It probably wouldn't hurt me to even back off a little more.

20 minute warm up.  3 x 8:00 with 2 minute recovery 2 x 4:00 with two minute recovery.  6:45-6:50 on the 8 minutes.  6:15-6:30 on the four minutes.  My legs were toast on the last one.  1.5 cooldown home.  Did a strength/dance workout after running yesterday.  I'm tired  now.

My legs are so done.  Wanted 13.  But, was completely spent at 12.  Ran with Tee.  We'll bump to 13 next week.

Ended up backing off this week due to some swelling in my heel.  I'm doing a lyrical dance all on my toes and my troublesome Achilles tendon does not like it one bit.  I was not made to dance.  I like it though!

Steamy morning. My Achilles is hating life.  It wasn't a pleasant run.
