Didn't get out this morning like I should have. This afternoon I went over to Hurricane Track and did some tempo miles, things didn't go as I had hoped. After a mile warm-up ran the first mile in 5:40 felt ok after a few minutes of active recovery ran the second mile in 6:00, but was physically drained, did some more active recovery and started the third mile repeat, but had to stop my body was just not responding, I thought it had cooled off a little and the breeze outside would make the workout a little easier to do, but instead it was still really warm and the breeze soon turned to very strong gusts. Upset I did a mile cool down and decided with the afternoon heat and strong winds I was done with the track workout. Plan on getting in some more miles tonight. Ribs still hurting, but feeling a little better than yesterday. |
