Good workout tonight, did 2.5 mile warm-up (funny calling it a warm-up when it was still 97 degrees outside at 9:00 pm) over to HHS track then ran 3x1 mile @ 10K race pace or slightly slower 6:07, 6:01, 5:55. Felt pretty relaxed on all three and probably could have gone a little faster. I was a little discouraged because it was pretty dark and I couldn't see my splits very good on each lap. After the workout ran another 2.5 miles home real nice and easy. |
