total running time 50:26. plan was 1 mile warm-up, 4 miles of 1K repeats with 1 minute rest then 1 mile cool down. I tried to keep the effort at 7:50 pace. splits 9:23, 7:52, 7:50, 7:51, 8:00, 9:30. The last uptempo was only for 0.25 miles. ave HR 129.
I cut my mileage back 2 miles. over the last week my resting HR has jumped from 38 to 47. I am concerned that I am over training so this week I am cutting back a total of 6 miles (15%).
