I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Nice very hot run around the golf course today. For some reason the old legs were dragging behind me today not a lot of,zip. Still a great run though. |

| What is with the wind every afternoon, it's either coming strong out of the nonetheless west or the south west. It was a head wind for half of my run today, and at my back in the way home. My legs today felt like blocks of cement again, today is the first back to back days of running sense the marathon. The aches ans pains are all gone , but they still feel on the tired side. Still another great ru. Though, loved it. |

Another very windy run today, in fact more so than yesterday. At the begining of my run the come hard out of the southwest, then on the way back it switched to the northwest. just a real weird pattern this year with all the wind.
I did the extended golf course loop today, the legs are still feeling on the tired side. Just went with the run and did my best and still had a great time. |

| Headed out the door just after 5 am this morning. What a beautiful morning to, this is the kind of morning you wait for all winter and just soak it all in. I wasn't sure how far I would go this morning, as it has only been two out from doing the marathon. My legs seem to be doing well and recovering just fine. I went up over Harry's and then headed up to the round about over to loafers canyon road and out by the canal. Feeling good and it was nice to be out in the early morning air. Just a great run. |
