I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Hottest day of the year or run of the year so far. Arrived home from work this afternoon and the temp was in the middle sities. So I threw on the tank top and it was so wonderful to run without all the winter gear. I felt as lite as a feather, My run took me out past mini gu corner today and back. The legs did good after sat long run, after the run I spent 25 min on the bowflex doing upper body work. Good start to a new week. |

| The weahter was nice for half of run today, the last couple of miles it got cloudy and windy then cold. I did the extended golf course loop today. My legs were a bit more whcak today so I took it easy. Was a nice run though, enjoyed it very much. |

| Today I ran the Old Bishop Storhouse Route. Tryed to just keep a steady pace today and not let the wind get to me. Feeling ok for an old guy, just got to keep at it. |

| I did the extended golf course loop today, I went real easy as I really wanted to enjoy the warm sun today. It sure was a nice day temp wise and it was perfect for running today. I did 25 min on the bowflex with somemore upper body work. |

| Nice short long run today, feeling ok just have to keep at it. It's been a good week of training, next sat we will be going down to do the Spectrum 10k in St. George. Have not been able to find a room so we will drive down early sat morn of the race. Should be fun day. |
