| Location: Provo,UT,USA Member Since: May 18, 2010 Gender: Male Goal Type: NCAA Champ Running Accomplishments: Pre-high school: I ran a lot of local 5ks and a few half marathons. I didn't do a ton of training, but I just had fun, and I got more serious about it as high school got closer.
High school: I enjoyed running a lot, especially cross country. I originally did track to keep my in shape for cross country. I ran at Footlocker Nationals, the Adidas Dream mile, Brooks PR Invitational, world xc junior championships, and a few local 5ks.

School records in the 5km and 10km. Personal: Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from July 2015-July 2017. I gained 30 lbs. during the service and came back out of shape; however I knew that if the Lord wanted me to once again run competitively, he would bless me to return to fitness.

| | Long run. Clayton, Milly and I were the only ones going 20, so after 7.5, it was just us. It was a quicker long run, nothing too exciting, but it was great to run with them again. 6:04 average.

| | AM-5x1200 at 3:19, 3:16, 3:17, 3:16, 3:16. Switching the lead every rep between Jared, Milly and myself. Felt good, however my calves were burning from this being the first speed-like workout in a while and I haven't done strides in a while.
PM-6 miles with Kramer, Dallin and Milly. It was dark and I ran into a tree. Felt dumb but it was funny for the other guys.

PM-Had to study for a final, so I didn't end up going with the team. 6 miles on my own, probably a bit quicker than I should've gone, but it was fine.

| | AM-2.6 warm up, 10 mile PMP in trainers with Jared, Danny, Milly, Micah and Clayton. It was tough! Great workout, but definitely tough. Ran 49:25, and finished with Jared so that was a huge confidence builder. 3 mile cool down. Felt pretty dead the rest of the day when taking my last final.

AM2-started at 11:10, so it was technically in the AM. Ran with JD, Spencer Nelson, Mark, and Justin. Felt a bit tired and we ran pretty reserved, which was nice.

| | Long run with Adam, James, and Mark. After 13 it was just Mark and I, and at 16 I started a 3 mile pickup, going 5:05, 5:03, 4:58. My lower back/hip started hurting after. Hopefully nothing too serious.
