| | AM- About a 3 mile warm up, 5 mile tempo in 25:06, 3 mile cool down. First workout back is always hard. Today wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but it did hurt. My GPS watch is usually pretty accurate on Lake Loop, contrary to what my teammates say, but today it was pretty far off. This led me to pushing the pace more than I should have, because I thought I was running slower. Ran most of it with Zac Jacklin, then sped up a bit.
PM-5 miles with Marcus, Clayton, and Michael. What a great group to be running with.

| | AM-10.1 miles similar to my run on Friday. Getting a bit of incline.
PM-8 miles in nearly 98 degree weather. First 5 were with Michael Ottison. Felt really tired today, I think it's due to not getting proper sleep. My class ends in a week, so after that I'll get to sleep in until 6:30.

| | AM-10x1000m with Jacklin at Intramural field. Probably averaged around 3:03-05, but we didn't know the distance exactly. First 1000m was measured at .62, while the next was .65, so you can't really put too much stock into GPS watches on grass repeats. Good workout, but harder than I remembered. Nice to get the legs moving.
PM-6 miles, all with Talem and Danny, some with Michael and Milly.

| | Long run at Jeremy Ranch. Fairly chill. John Dressel was in Salt Lake City and was willing to meet up for the run. It was great catching up with him and it sounds like he is going to be fit this fall.

| | AM-13 miles total. Progressive power run. Mile warm up, then 5:56, 5:36, 5:25, 5:14, 5:12, 4:59, 4:55, 4:46, 4:55. 3 miles easy back. The team was pretty together for most of it, then the last 4 miles, Jared, Milly, and I started speeding things up. 2nd to last mile Jared put the burners on. Last mile I fell off, but I told myself to just make sure I ran 5:00 or faster. Great workout.
PM-5 easy miles with Danny.

| | Long run from Matt’s house. I didn’t feel too good. I was pretty tired even though I fell asleep at 9 last night. I think it’s just been a tough week with finals, mileage, and everything else that’s going on.

| | 19 mile long run with last mile on grass doing strides. I felt beat, but it may have been from the mileage or running most of these miles in the 5:40s. Ready for a fun season though.
