Trails!

Canal Trail(s) - 

Easy pace, uneventful run.  New section of trail connecting the canal trail to BST is getting close to being done.  Too bad its going to be paved.  I ran on the dirt today though.

Paradise to Mt. Pisgah (7146') plus some ridge and off trail 'running' - 

Dropped the kids off at school and went for a long run.  It's my b-day so I figured I should go run 34 miles.  Yep, that didn't happen but I made it 34K.  Great run out exploring a bit and doing a good mix of dirt roads and off trail running.  First named peak tag of the year.  Good stuff.

Crimson Trail Loop - 

I joined Joe and Fan today for a fun run on such a great little gem of a trail.  It requires a stiff 1K foot climb and then its rolling twisting and snaking along an exposed cliff edge for about 2 miles.  Perfect for right after a rain storm.  Joe took off and I hung on for dear life.  Fan took the sensible plan of life preservation.  We all survived though, so joke's on him.

Lunch - 6 on the dirt roads behind work - slow 51 mins (6 miles)

Evening - Ran home from my daughter's soccer game.  It was up on the east bench so I took deer fence over to providence then down the hill.  Super slow pace.  My body is hammered.

Easy 4 dodging rain storms.

Long Run 25 - 

Ran from the house to the Green Canyon Yurt and back.  Time was of the essence today so did a mix of roads and easy trails to get my mileage in.  Made it back in time for all the soccer games and other family commitments.  Trails were a bit muddy from all the rain.  I ended up getting a bit wet from a squall that caught me while in green canyon.  Solid Week 85 miles!
