Five easy miles this morning.

Planned on going out for three more tonight but our home owners association meeting got a little heated and went way long.

I just put a message continued on our discussion about running together on my blog.

but here is the gist of it -

I think I can help you set up for a 2:40.

I've never had a problem going strong at first, just finishing. So we'll go out and hit 1:18 and then bring it home and I'll go with you as long as I can.

I was just checking out the pace calculater Bill posted to Dustin and it calculated that we should hit 1:21 for the first half, but I have always been one to run good while you feel good. So I think we should go out with the 1:18 in mind.

Oh, by the way - isn't your wife supposed to be able to control those HOA meetings?!

That sounds good to me. Are you going to come run Thursday night at the park. It might be a good idea to even do just 3 or so miles together before the race just to be run together.

I'm planning on going and just doing like 3-5, something like that.

She can control the ones for our business but this one was with all the people we live around so we have to wear a different hat.
