3 miles on the treadmill this afternoon. Hip hurt but not as bad as yesterday afternoons run. Took it really easy and for a mile there was no pain but by mile two the pain came back. Had taken 800 m of Ib about 1.5 hours before getting on the treadmill and it about made me barf while running. True Bliss around here right now!

You need to be wrapped in bubble tape starting about 10 days before any marathons. Your pre-UV poisoning in 2011 is still my justification for never cleaning the bathrooms the week before a big race. I reason that it gives me something to do the day after.

I hope somehow you get to feeling better and can pull this together.

Seriously!

That's the best part of UV '11. No cleaning bathrooms for like a month before events... which if I time it right can be all year long:)

Hope the hip cooperates for you Saturday. You've put together a nice buildup since LoToJa. Be confident in your fitness and go defend your home turf.

Good luck Saturday! Hope your hop cooperates at least a little.
