7 miles in the a.m.

5 miles in the p.m.

On my morning run I got carried away running back home. I was listening to the Rocky Soundtrack, and dreaming about winning the STGM in 07 or 08, and I hit a mile of pure downhill... With my emotions running high I hit 6th of 7 miles in around 4:45 split. It was fun to run that fast, and then when I got home I cationed myself on how dumb it was. Thats an injury waiting to happen.

Did an easy five tonight out on the golf course by my house. I'm starting to get my annual September allergies. I'm already sick of having a runny nose.

Sounds like you have "the eye of the tiger" and you are getting pumped for the marathon.

Sounds like a great run. 4:45 is speedy . . . . that will definitely win you the marathon in '07 or '08.
