I decided I'd start doing some (2) a day workouts to help boost my mile per week. So I've picked a quick loop through the industrial park that I can run every morning. With a afternoon run this will help me pick it up.

Ran after work out 3.5 and back. I feel a little sore but almost better than I would guess I should considering one week ago I was in a wheelchair after Boston.

Hi superfly. Good to see you this morning. I too want to start two a days.but every one is telling me to calm down and chill for a couple of more weeks and let my body heal from Boston. I am not sure what to think of this. hope yo day goes well.

I failed to mention that as the sun was coming up on my run this morning I could see this wild bull on the lose running throught the streets of STG. As I got closer I thought I saw Bill but it was just a blur as he sprinted by.

Good idea. Two a day is a great way to train when the schedule permits. Jack Daniels recommends it when you hit 50 a week, and based on my experience I tend to agree.

HEY NICE JOB AT BOSTON..I HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT YOU HAVE TO RUN IT UNDER 3HRS TO BE CONSIDERED GOOD SO SORRY ABOUT THAT MAYBE NEXT TIME RIGHT ...AND BY THE WAY YOU BETTER COMMENT ME BACK ON THIS ONE

From SuperFly on Tue, Apr 25, 2006 at 08:00:34

Max-Buddy its true you are a pretty good runner if you run a marathon under 3hrs. I missed it by 47 seconds at Boston, but I ran under 3hrs at the St.George Marathon. Are you going to the wrestling awards party? You need to be there, and tell all your friends.

Hey superfly-what would it take for a fat CPA to get into the Boston Marathon?

From Sasha Pachev on Tue, Apr 25, 2006 at 10:13:17

Clyde - good job on the doubles. Keep it up.

Assaurus - sign up for an account here, and start training. The Fast Running Blog has the ability to harass a fat CPA into Boston qualifying shape.

It's great to see you're feeling recovered from the Marathon. I really think you're going to see some great result by building on your base from Boston.

If you continue your two-a-days and add some speed workout once a week you're going to see your times drop even more,

probably your weight as well. Just don't over-do-it.

From SuperFly on Tue, Apr 25, 2006 at 11:43:12

Assaurus...If this is "The Asssurus" I don't know that anyone who drinks that much DP or Dew has ever qualified for Boston. But I'd personally run with you every day just to see you run at Boston and then we could go catch a Red Sox game. Because I'd rather go with you next time than with my mother-in-law. Who asked me during the game "when is the 7th inning stretch". Hey send me a email so we can chit chat.
