13 miles today.  The most feared day of the week for me, speed day.

I did 5 miles of speed @ one mile repeats with a slow mile inbetween.

mile 1 @ 5:42

Mile 2 @ 5:39

mile 3 @ 5:36

Mile 4 @ 5:33

mile 5 @ 5:30

A good workout.  The last one I really had to tell myself I could do it.  I was ready to be done.

In Answer to Ryans question about my training.  For some reason I can't respond to comments.

The plan was originally to do two workouts a day after I hit 10 miles.  I was planning on running 10 in the mornings and then eventually 5 in the afternoons four days a week 10 on Fridays and long runs on Saturdays.

I don't know now.  I ran 13 miles three days this week so far all in the morning and I'm feeling pretty good, so maybe I'll just get-er-done in the mornings and not worry about afternoon runs.

It seems it would be more time consuming to have to find time for two runs a day, change twice, shower twice, stretch twice, you know what I mean?

I'll stay as is for now unless the body starts getting tired.

13 easy miles this moring.  The legs a little tired from yesterdays speed, but a pretty good run.  The body felt as fresh as it should I guess.

13 miles this morning.  Tempo day.

3 miles of warm up at 7:19 per mile followed by 5 miles of tempo at 6:18 per mile.  Two cool down miles first at 7:19, last at 6:58, I'll count it as a tempo mile.

A good run this morning.  Body stills feels pretty good after four consecutive mornings of 13 miles.  I'm on track to run 78 miles this week, which is going to be an all time high for me by 6 miles!!

16 miles at 5:00 am this morning.  A good run.  I felt pretty strong and fresh throughout.  A new life time high for miles ran in one week for me!!  My last high was 72, 78 actually felt easier.  I think it's because I must be in better shape.

The body feels pretty good. Every now and again my knee hurts for a bit, my achilles or hip, but nothing serious.  I think I'm on track to keep bumping up the miles and speed.

I'm looking forward to not running tomorrow.

350 miles NIMBUS
