| Member Since: May 24, 2015 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: Pre-highschool: I loved to run and ran a few small local 5k's, but I did not run much on my own, besides junior high track.
Freshman year: I ran cross country and traied wih the team most of the summer. When the season started I ran 3 races including Murray Invitational. I got a huge PR there but after the race my foot hurt and I had a hard time walking. I ran on it for the next week but it was not getting better, so I went to a Sports MD and found out that i had a stress fracture. Becaue of that injury I missed the rest of the season. Then I ran track for my junior high but did not do extremely well.
Sophmore year: I trained hard over the summer and I got a 3 minute PR on my first race. I continued to PR, and had a good, injury free season. I ran indoor track an had some good PRs. I ran at simplot and had a great time. I did track and ran some goodtimes and cut my time down by 15 seconds, I was hoping that I could get low 5's in the mile, but I had fun and was able to race at the steepechase and have a fun time through out the season. At sophmore region I was able to PR in the 800 and I missed my PR in the mile by 2 seconds.
Junior year: I ran a little over 500 miles over the summer, but wasn't improving how I would have liked over the season. I was not consistant at all and was sick for aboout 3 races. I finally had a good race at region and dropped a 46 second pr. Track went well, I went sub-5 in the mile finally and got a PR in the 2 mile pretty easily. I didn't really hit the times I had hoped for throughout the season due to sickness and I just wasn't in it.

Sub 2:00 on the 800
Sub 6:25 on steeple chase
Qualify for State, Arcadia, and Great South West, and become the best runner I can be. Long-Term Running Goals: Run cross country and track in college. Keep improving and just having fun. I'll probably run an ultra or two for the heck of it and to see if I like them. Personal: I'm a Senior at Weber High School. I am LDS and plan on serving a mission before college. | | Easy recovery day today. I did 4.75 in the morning and 3.5 later tonight. I ran up to the cave and was next to the entrance when I heard a growl which I'm assiming came from a bobcat based on the tracks. I booked it out of there because I wasn't really in the mood to be eaten...

| | Me and Addison ran back up to the cave and ran around the trails up there before getting on canal road. We didn't realize how freaking deep it was becasue there was a nice path carved out until it stopped. We kept going on and decided it would be better to get off and run on the road.

| | All was well until we reached the bottom of Shady Lane, and then my knee locked up and I died. Im heading in to see what I did tomorrow.

| | The trainer said that I have Bursitis becasue of a tight IT band. So I biked 6 miles today until it started to hurt.

| | Went to the pool and treaded warter. My watch said it was equalivent to 5 miles of running, so that is what I put. Treading in water/ water jogging doesn't bother my knee at all, so that is good because othewise I would go insane.

Weber state Indoor meet (1 Miles) 00:05:30 | | 5:30 mile, im not sure about splits. I just got cleared to race by the trainer yesterday, so im sorta out of shape, but It was a good painful expirience. I know what I need to focus and work on now so I should be cable to run even faster next week. I was able to race in my new spikes and I absolutely love them. ve never raced in spikes before, and now that I have I'm wondering why I didn't. I got the Brooks Mach 16 thanks to Jake Lee's sugestion, and I got them for an incredible deal.

Olympic oval meet (1 Miles) 00:05:20 | | I got a rough start in the mile becasue I registered late, so I was placed in the back behind eveeryone. I ran almost the entire first lap and a quarter in lane 2 just so I could pass people. I never thought of myself having a good kick, but I ended up passing 6 kids in the last 100, so that felt really good. I did a 2 mile cooldown after. We had alot of fun this weekend and I was able tohang out with Connor Baller fora while which was totally dope haha

Olympic oval meet (0.5 Miles) 00:02:20 | | Wasn't planning on runing an 800 today, but I haven't ran one in more than 2 years and wanted to see where I was at. I didn't get registered before so I had to start in the very back of the pack, which sucked because I had to pass aton of people. I ended up running a 2:20 and taking 6th in my heat of 27, so I was proud of that. I got to race in my new spikes again, and I totally love them. Did a 3 mile cooldown to compensate for the short warmup
