| I'm sick of "not having time" to run. I went on a 10:45 late night run. Better than nothing.

| Ultramarathon number 2!! This race was honestly harder than I thought it would be, but I loved it just the same. The course was set up where it had kind of this central aide station, and then loops that would go out from it. I started out pretty conservative, and just kept a good pace throughout. The hardest parts of the race was the last loop, the red loop, which was the longest, at just over 10 miles. There was a long stretch of uphill, which was very tiring, but I did catch quite a few people on it. The very hardest part though was the last 6-7 miles from the aide station, along the outskirts of town and to the finish line. When I got to the aide station, my parents were there, and told me that there were two people ahead of me that I could probably catch. I was feeling pretty good mentally, knowing there was just a few miles left, and sped through the aid station and out after those people. I caught them both within about 1.5 miles, but from there, it was an absolute mental battle to the finish. The last few miles were along this ridge, and just a slow uphill in the heat. It seemed like the end would never come, but it did, and it felt so good to finish, and eat some bean and cheese quesadillas! I was truly surprised to find out I came in third place overall, so that was kinda fun to know. I think I have the potential to do better in the future! I was most proud though of Sam. He powered through that with sheer mental tenacity, and it was just epic to watch. What a freaking animal.

| Did a fartlek workout with Anna down in Parawon. I'm so glad she's my sister. I hope her track season doesn't get cancelled, cause this is the best shape she's been, both mentally and physically, her whole life. Give her a chance!

| I paced Michaela for a mile time trial, it was fun, but she ran a 5:39, which wasn't what she was hoping for, but she forgot her spikes and it was a bit windy, so it is what it is.

| Ten mile run up and back in the Provo Canyon. I started the run with Mitch, Michaela, and one of Michaela's friends, but right at the turn around point, I ran in to none other than the illustrious JOHN ROBBINS! It was so fun to run and chat with him, he's just awesome dude.

| When with Garret Marsing, one of his steeplechase friends named Matt, and one of my homies from the farm team, Jared Murphy. We were just doing an adventure trail run loop down from house to grove creek, up that canyon, and I wanted to make my way around and up the saddle of big baldy and down dry creek canyon, but there was quite a bit of snow up there, and quite honestly, I don't think anyone was really prepared for an adventure run. I was the only one with a pack or water or food. I think Garret and Jared would have been game to push on, but Matt was not feeling it, morale was low so we cut the losses and came down earlier down battle creek. Still super fun. I've got to get that full loop in though, with some good adventure homies. Hopefully soon!

| What a fun run, just went out exploring and had a great time on the trails, it was fantastic weather and everything about this run was incredible, except that I had some gastric distress going on, which was very unfortunate. Had to stop a few times for that, but overall, I'm just happy about how it went down, and I have a lot of fun new trails to explore!
