This was the hardest workout I have done in a while. Me and coach harris ran up main street, then ran up the canyon to the start of the summer games 5k then ran the course at the pace greg's aiming for at the Snow Canyon half next week. Our first mile was 5:44, then 5:35, 5:32, and the last .1 in 31 so 17:23 for the 5k and 16:52 at 3 miles. Felt pretty good but was still very hard. 5.22 miles to the start of the 5k and 2.14 easy miles after the 5k. Got bored this afternoon and wanted to run 2 easy miles to get up to 40 for the week but I was almost done and didn't feel like I had gotten a workout at all so I did 1 more mile in 5:39.

Jogged about .7 to CVHS track then did 5 mile repeats in: 5:42, 5:16, 5:29, 5;21, and 5:17, then jogged about .6 back to my house. Tough workout for me.

Just 5 easy miles today. Started out really slow and picked it up a little bit as I went on. 7:29 avg.

Ran with coach harris today. We started from my house and went up to the trail that is ran on in the summer games. We ran pretty easy until the bridge at the top of the trail, then picked it up for 1.5 miles on the way down. First mile in 5:45 and the next .5 in around 2:50. Felt pretty good. Then jogged about 2.5 mile back to my house. 6:55 avg. and didn't feel too hard.

Warmed up a mile with greg and logan.

1. 4:53 very fast but felt easy because of the steep downhill.

2. 5:07 still fast but felt good.

3. 5:36 still feeling good 15:37 3 mile split.

4. 6:10 mostly up hill mile.

5. 6:04 still a pretty hard mile.

6. 5:47 still feeling pretty good, starting to get a stomach ache.

7. 5:54 little bit slow, but still doing good.

8. 5:41 still feeling good.

9. 5:36 thought I'd be getting tired by this point but still felt good.

10. 5:44 good mile, pretty bad stomach ache now,

11. 5:53 I think this mile was mostly up hill, trying to keeping going stomach really bothering me.

12. 5:31 pretty fast mile still not feeling that tired.

13. 5:34 good mile, legs still feeling good.

.06 16 seconds on SC track.

Overall felt really good about this race. I think I'm still learning how to race this long of a race, but big pr and really didn't feel that tired. Legs never tightened up like they did in the only other half I've ran. Cooled down around a mile with greg and logan.

Didn't run today. Had basketball tryouts and they went o.k. I was suprised at how easy the sprinting felt. Probably won't run for a couple months, take some time off and hopefully start running some easy miles towards the end of basketball season or after basketball ends.

Still haven't been running because of basketball. Already getting bored of not running and wanting to start again. I love basketball, but its not the same and feel like I'm getting out of shape.

Ran on treadmill at the gym it wasn't accurate on distance but I would guess about 2.5 miles in 20 min. Not much of a run but its basketball season so I don't mind

Probably ran a little more than this but I'll just guess. Ran a few min. on the treadmill at the gym then 2 miles after. Real slow 8:07 avg. on the 2 miles after.

Ran 2 hrs. on the treadmill at the gym today. I like running on the treadmill I think partly because I get in a good rythym i'm not sure why, I just seem to not get that tired. I think that my 2 longest runs ever (time and probably distance too, at least for this run) have both been on treadmills. The treadmill I was running on isn't accurate, but I would guess that I averaged at least 7:00 pace for the entire time so that would put me at 17.14 miles. Did another 20 min. on the treadmill real slow but probably still at least 2 miles. Good workout especially considering that I'm not really training right now.
