This was the hardest workout I have done in a while. Me and coach harris ran up main street, then ran up the canyon to the start of the summer games 5k then ran the course at the pace greg's aiming for at the Snow Canyon half next week. Our first mile was 5:44, then 5:35, 5:32, and the last .1 in 31 so 17:23 for the 5k and 16:52 at 3 miles. Felt pretty good but was still very hard. 5.22 miles to the start of the 5k and 2.14 easy miles after the 5k. Got bored this afternoon and wanted to run 2 easy miles to get up to 40 for the week but I was almost done and didn't feel like I had gotten a workout at all so I did 1 more mile in 5:39. |
